The One Million Challenge
I am happy to announce a new initiative, aimed at our young people. We have a 3-point programme for Transition Year students 2011/2012, whereby individual schools can participate. The objective is to increase the penetration and use of www.giveandbuy.ie and help create a business plan for internationalisation.The 3 key objectives are:
- Through viral marketing using Facebook, Twitter and other social networking sites, create 1 million fans
- Increase Revenue of www.giveandbuy.ie to over €1 million
- Launch www.giveandbuy.co.uk
The benefits are:
- Many deserving charities will benefit from a new revenue stream at a time when their revenues are down
- Young people will experience real achievement and social responsibility
- Young people will learn about modern marketing techniques and online business
