  • Care Aid International
    Every year, over 99% of net funds raised go directly to CareAid projects in Africa. We can do this because our charity is run entirely by volunteers and we pay no remuneration or commissions.
  • Friends of Kitui
    We support people in need in Kitui, Kenya. We work to provide the marginalised with clean water and access to education, and to empower them by boosting their economic independence.
  • Peter McVerry Trust
    Peter McVerry Trust supports young homeless people to break the cycle of homelessness and move towards independent living through the provision of a continuum of care services.

    We work for a just world. We work with amazing people to bring about positive and lasting changes in some of the world’s poorest places.
  • Our Lady's Hospice
    Our Lady's Hospice, Harold's Cross & Blackrock, provides specialist care for people with a range of needs from rehabilitation to end of life care. Applying a programme of holistic care, the physical, spiritual and emotional wellbeing of all of our patients and their families are looked after here.
  • Down Syndrome Centre Ireland
    The goal is to build Ireland’s first Down Syndrome Centre - a home for developmental excellence in all matters relating to the care and treatment of people with Down syndrome.
  • Irish Cancer Society
    The mission of the Irish Cancer Society is to play a vital role in achieving world-class cancer services in Ireland, to ensure fewer people get cancer and those that do have better outcomes. Our goals are focused around prevention, survival and quality of life with three programme areas to achieve them; advocacy, cancer services and research.
  • Barnardos
    Barnardos supports children whose well-being is under threat, by working with them, their families and communities and by campaigning for the rights of children. Barnardos was established in Ireland in 1962 and is Ireland's leading independent childrens' charity.
  • Women of Malawi (Mua Hospital Appeal)
    The Mua Hospital Appeal aims to provide a new, fully-fitted, modern operating theatre to Mua Hospital (situated in the Dedza District of Malawi). The theatre will be pre-fabricated in Ireland and shipped to Malawi, where it will dramatically improve the hospital’s ability to handle serious surgical cases. The Mua Hospital Appeal is a project for the charity "Women of Malawi" (CHY18962).
  • Meningitis Research Foundation
    We fund research to prevent meningitis and septicaemia, improve survival rates and outcomes. We promote education and awareness to reduce death and disability, and give support to people affected.
  • Special Olympics Ireland
    Special Olympics changes lives. Special Olympics Ireland is first and foremost a sports organisation for people with an intellectual disability, but it provides athletes with far more than the physical benefits of sport. It's about fun, friendships and team spirit; it’s about a feeling of belonging, and ultimately improving quality of life. Special Olympics changes lives in so many different ways.
  • Chernobyl Children International
    Chernobyl Children International (CCI) restores hope, alleviates suffering and protects current and future generations in the Chernobyl regions, by passionately advocating the rights of all those affected. We develop medical and humanitarian programmes to reduce poverty, facilitate long-term sustainable community-based solutions and improve the livelihoods of Chernobyl’s children.
  • Bóthar
    Bóthar is the Irish charity which uses livestock in development aid programmes in 35 countries overseas. Through time poor families are helped to escape hunger and poverty through the food and income provided by their farm animals.
  • Shine
    Shine is the national organisation dedicated to upholding the rights and addressing the needs of all those affected by enduring mental illness including, but not exclusively, schizophrenia, schizo-affective disorder and bi-polar disorder, through the promotion and provision of high-quality services and working to ensure the continual enhancement of the quality of life of the people it serves.
  • Debra Ireland
    DEBRA Ireland's mission is to fund the development of treatments and cures for all forms of Epidermolysis Bullosa, and meanwhile to do all in its power to alleviate the suffering caused by EB. To put it simply children born with the condition, have skin internally and externally that is as delicate and fragile as the wings of a butterfly, and just as easily damaged.
  • Parentline
    Parentline is a confidential helpline for parents. Parentline offers support, guidance and information on all aspects of being a parent. Parents phone Parentline with all sorts of problems - from new born babies to teenagers and adult children - all ages offer different challenges.
  • Camara
    Camara is a volunteer organisation dedicated to using technology to deliver education more effectively to disadvantaged communities in Africa and Ireland.
  • Niall Mellon Township Trust
    The Niall Mellon Township Trust was started by Niall Mellon in 2002. His aim is to build quality social housing for impoverished families living in shacks in the townships of South Africa.
  • Concern
    Concern Worldwide works with the poorest people in the poorest countries of the world to enable them to transform their lives. We are currently carrying out programmes focusing on education, health, livelihoods, emergency response and HIV and AIDS in 25 of the world’s poorest countries.Sustained by the concern of our many supporters, we seek out those who most urgently need our support, and work with them through thick and thin to tackle poverty, hunger and disaster.
  • 98FM Radiothon 2011
    This hugely popular fundraising event will take place on the 14-16th April 2011 and will once again see 98FM team up with Temple Street Children’s University Hospital and The Nationals Children’s Hospital, Tallaght. The 98FM Care for Kids Radiothon aims to highlight both moving and poignant stories from ill children all over the country while raising much needed funds for the children's hospitals.
  • Outreach Moldova
    Outreach works with children and young adults that have been abandoned or orphaned, children with disability and children with chronic and terminal illness in different geographical areas within Moldova, servicing mainly the Chisinau and Hincesti regions. ORM was founded after seeing first hand the horrendous conditions that children at Hincesti Orphanage lived in.
  • Rock reaches Out to Kenya
    Blackrock College 6th Year Class of 2011, working with Holy Ghost Fathers of Kenya and Ireland, together with the staff and parents of Blackrock College and Blackrock College Past Pupils Union have come together to develop the HOLY GHOST SCHOOL, MACHAKOS in KENYA. This year, during the month of July, 30 boys, from the 2011 graduating class, will travel to Kenya (at their own expense) to contribute their labour and energy to begin development of this 400 student secondary school. It is anticipated that future graduating classes will continue to assist in the development of this school. We are now launching a fundraising drive to assist in the development of this school.
